What to Expect

The first thing you should know is that we practice the “Golden Rule” in this office, and treat every patient how we’d like to be treated.

When you arrive at our office as a new patient, you’ll notice we have a “No Wait” policy, and that Dr. Tanase will promptly welcome you. We respect your time, so you won’t have to sit twiddling your thumbs in our reception room.

You’ll then sit down with the doctor and have a relaxed, private consultation. He’ll ask you questions about your health history, and then proceed with a careful examination. New patients often comment how Dr. Tanase’s examination was the most thorough one they’ve ever received!

If X-rays are needed for your case, these will be performed in a state-of-the-art, laser-aligned imaging center.

The doctor will then take time to analyze and study your films, and review these findings with you. Dr. Tanase likes to give his patients choices, so if he can help you, he’ll let you know what options are available, and then let you decide which course of action you’d like to take. If he does not feel that you’ll benefit from Upper Cervical Care, he will inform you of this in advance, and refer you to an appropriate healthcare provider.

Dr. Tanase will never “twist, pop, or crack” your neck. Your adjustment will be performed in a very comfortable side-posture position, and will occur without pain. In fact, we even offer a “Pain-Free Adjustment Guarantee.”

At the Big Idea Clinic, your adjustments are tailor-made exclusively for your needs, and are as unique as a fingerprint. No two people ever receive the exact same adjustment in this office.

Following the procedure, you’ll rest in a private and specially designed resting suite. This is a very comfortable and quiet room with soft lighting and soothing music. After your resting period is over, Dr. Tanase will use Computerized Infrared Thermography (CIT) to measure your improvement. This will confirm that a proper adjustment has been made. There’s no “guess work” here – we always make sure that you receive a complete adjustment, and that we did our job properly.

Dr. Tanase also makes this promise to all new patients: After your consultation and exam, if you are not convinced that our office is the right place for you, there will be no charge for your visit that day. So there’s absolutely no risk wasting your time or money when choosing our office.

And lastly, if you’ve ever heard “once you visit a chiropractor you have to keep going for the rest of your life,” we want you to know this is completely untrue at the Big Idea Clinic!
